A resident of Utah.  The author grew up in the small town of Blanding in the SE corner of Utah. A graduate of Southern Utah University 1982 with a degree in psychology and certificate in Social Work and continued a one and a half decade in the Social Work field.  Later he continued on active duty status with the Army Utah National Guard.        

Currently he lives in Roy, Utah with his beautiful wife Michelle. He has five children, six grandchildren and a growing posterity.
