You find yourself, alone, lost in the woods— dark—dreadful—dismal. You are desperate to find your way out of this dark and forbidding place. You are alone, you have lost your guide, you are scared. Do you give up and wander in misery or do you exercise hope? Hope can be powerful. If and when you find a sense to hope, what do you do? Search yourself for tools— tools that, if trusted and correctly applied, will bring you hope, relief, rescue, enlightenment and ultimately, salvation.
Tools: Hope, Courage, - you are suddenly and starkly close, yet as you -determined, continue on, you feel that somehow, you are not alone. What you gave been. Where you have been.
What you have been Taught will help will help you, but within –
you pay attention and are aware of voices, impressions, sincere feelings.
apprehension diminishes and so how you notice a door open—a door not seen before—a way out of the dismal, the futile. Suddenly you feel a hope and sense that perhaps there is a chance to escape your doubts, worries and fears. You also realize that you did not find this escape by happenstance, by mere luck nor on your own.
An acknowledgement of a higher care giver finding and assisting you does not seem all that odd after all. For there is hope. There will be peace. You know that now, you believe and in the end—you accept.
